Space-suited monkeys from the far future, on the streets of 1960s Damascus, in Syria. They’ve stopped to snap a few pics while their space ships wait in the sky to whisk them away. Gritty, everyday and exotic, mid-century human culture is set against these visitations.
‘Damascus’ is one of 6 images in the series. It is available framed or unframed as a limited, archival quality print, in sepia tones.
Travel series is a collaboration between Pete and Elaine Woodbridge. The works are created by digitally restoring and restyling found vintage photographs of well-known cities and digitally illustrating into the images.
Optional framing is float mounted in a professional, dark brown wood frame with chocolate brown mount board. It is glassed and ready to hang. Print is shipped rolled in a tube. See frame examples in this blog post.
